whistles - so here it is.  Throttle response is important and the 35 Mag Sport
will pick your boat up and move it out with power to spare. And we have a full
selection of other motors from 14 to the very popular 31 horse.

The Sport comes with neutral, an easy-steer short outdrive, an all new quick and responsive electric
tilt and trim, a squeeze grip throttle and our newly designed control box with a
convenient thumb control trim switch mounted on the end of the handle, plus more.

Aluminum Hunting and Fishing Boats

Gator Trax boats are made of .125 5086 aluminum. The hulls are all one piece, with no seams to leak or break. They have rounded chines that allow you several advantages over a traditional flat bottom, square chine boat. The round chines allow for easy sideways poling in shallow, or even NO water. The round chines, combined with a smooth bottom (no crimps) also let you slip off of stumps, banks, logs, etc. You no longer have crimps or a right-angled square chine “tracking” you across a log or bank the way the boat wants to pull you. Our boat lets you glide across these obstructions the way YOU want to drive the BOAT!

The transom is angled at the bottom. This allows you to run your boat up on the bank, go hunt, come back to a low tide situation, and push your boat backwards easily.

Take a look at the rake on this boat. It is patterned after the LA airboat. It is a long,sloping rake, which allows you to plane properly under a heavy load. No more pushing or plowing water when loaded down.

The Gator Trax boat has a huge center bench that is dry storage. It also can be divided into two compartments, one vented, to house the gas tank. The Mud Buddy editions have full level flotation and are US Coast Guard approved with a recreational rating. Also offered is the Guide Edition without flotation. This is a commercially rated hull that is designed to give you maximum use of your dry storage areas and floor space. On the Guide Editions, you will also have a huge dry storage under your front deck, and the boat will weigh around 50 lbs. lighter than the recreational model. 

These boats are built specifically for the Mud Buddy engine in order to get the most out of your motor. The boat was built with shallow water running in mind. We have longitudinal runners (bracing) in our boats. Traditional flats have cross braces. That type of bracing does not allow the boat to flex when you hit an underwater obstruction or run onto a bank..

With longitudinal bracing, (braces running from the transom to the bow), the bottom can take a hit and not dent as easily. Even if it does dent with this design, it dents with a tunneling affect. This will not hamper the performance of the top end speed, as will multiple, hail-like dents on a cross-braced boat.
